Description

Three different amphorae? Pre-Archaic.
One with reconstructed incomplete rim

neck and top of shoulder. Thick projecting round rim

handle attachments extant. Exterior decoration: black slip on upper

exterior

and under surface of rim

black-red slip above handle attachments and linear decoration on bottom of neck.

Four large and one smaller fragment belonging to same long-necked amphora. Join to preserve flat

projecting rim

slating downwards. Black-red slip on rim surfaces and upper neck up until projecting ridge.

Three large

joining fragments of long-necked amphora. Two preserve flatish projecting rim with black slip band on upper neck. Other joining fragment is neck.

Small curved body fragment with black slip on exterior. Traces of glue.
